Antonio is in middle school and he is 13 years old. His mom admires that he is strong willed and that he is expressive about his likes and dislikes. He communicates very well without speaking.
Antonio was diagnosed with Cerebral Palsy at birth. He really enjoys patterns and routines. It makes him smile to ride his tricycle to the store, while his mom walks by his side. He likes to ride his trike straight to the DVD section to look for a new movie. It also makes him really happy to design his very own teddy bears at Build-A-Bear.
The Carrie Tingley Hospital Foundation helped to buy a new roofed activity chair for Antonio. It wiggles and rocks and it’s flexible. His mom Rita says, “He loves his new chair because it is more comfortable and he can move around in it. He is getting tall and his new chair has a lot of room for him to grow into.”
