Q&A

Q. How does the Carrie Tingley Hospital Foundation Festival of Trees raise money to help children with special health care needs?

A. This year's event is expected to raise over $65,000, and because of the generous support of our sponsors, at least 95% of every contribution, sponsorship gift, and tree sale will go directly to support programming for these remarkable kids. The Festival of Trees raises funds through Tree Sponsors, through the sale of trees (whether raffled, auctioned or sold at the event), through opening night party Jingley and Mingle ticket sales, through the silent auction, and through good-will donations at the event.

Q. If I want to sponsor, what are the opportunities?

A. Click here to read more details about Tree Sponsorship this year. Sponsorship is limited, and our deadline to reserve a Sponsorship is mid-October or until space fills up (whichever comes first).

Q. What can I expect when I come to the Festival?

A. The 3-day Festival on Friday, Saturday and Sunday is FREE and open to the public. Live holiday entertainment throughout the Festival will include local musical groups, talented choirs and other performers. View this year's Festival of Trees, which will include a special tribute the children and families served by the Carrie Tingley Hospital Foundation. We have confirmed that Santa Claus will be traveling to Albuquerque from the North Pole for this year's Festival and available for photos and taking wish lists. We'll also have an Arts & Crafts area where children can make ornaments to decorate a tree for the children receiving care at Carrie Tingley Hospital.

There will be trees and wreaths available for purchase. And, everywhere you look, we promise some of the most festive decorations and entertainment of the season.

Q. Do you need volunteers?

A. Absolutely. Carrie Tingley Hospital Foundation is a volunteer-driven organization, and we can't do what we do for the kids without volunteers. Click here for more details on all the volunteer openings at this year's Festival or call us at 505-243-6626.

Q. Where can I learn more about Carrie Tingley Hospital Foundation?

A. The Festival of Trees is one of our signature fundraising events. You may also know about our Annual Mudd Volleyball Tournament held in June. The Carrie Tingley Hospital Foundation is so much more ... please call us at 505-243-6626 if you'd like to have a volunteer present to your organization about the work we do on behalf of special needs children. Visit our organization's official web site and watch a short video, sign up for e-newsletter, and help advocate for these remarkable kids. Thank you for your support!
