Mudd Volleyball
The Carrie Tingley Hospital Foundation has been
providing assistance to New Mexico’s special needs
children and their families since 1963.

The Foundation supports the statewide pediatric,
orthopedic and rehabilitative needs of special needs children
and their families by identifying and providing needed
resources that would o therwise go unfulfilled.
Last year more than 22,000 patient services
were delivered to the special needs children;
they need help... our help and yours.

Co-ed teams of 12. Eight players must be on the court at all times, four of whom must be female. All players must be18 or older to play.

Co-ed recreational volleyball played in mud. Five round robin guaranteed games, weather permitting, and rally scoring. Winning teams advance to the playoffs.

As the Mudd Volleyball Tournament has grown larger each year, the continued safety of our participants is a major concern. Therefore, the following rules will be enforced:

  • NO TAILGATE PARTIES.
  • NO RE-ENTRY TO THE PLAYING FIELD.
    Carry all coolers, chairs, etc. in one trip. Be sure you have your glasses, any medical needs (such as an inhaler or insulin) etc., with you when you enter the playing field.
  • NO CHILDREN under 13 years of age.
  • NO EXCEPTIONS.

  • YOU CAN SET UP CAMP on Friday, June 12, from noon to 5:00 PM. On Saturday gates will open at 6:30 AM. Arrive in plenty of time to find your team and your court. Any team arriving late forfeits their first game.
  • COME PREPARED, know the name of your
    team captain, the name of the team you are playing with or the name of the company sponsoring the team.

  • TEAM CAPTAIN’S MEETING, Monday, June 8, 2009 5:30 PM at Embassy Suites Hotel, 1000 Woodward Pl.NE (corner of Lomas Blvd & Woodward Place, one block west of I-25 on Lomas) This is a mandatory meeting for all team captains to get your court and tent assignments and t-shirts.You can also purchase Official Mudd Calendars, Mudd caps for $10, additional sized t-shirts (small thru XXL) for $10, Muddigans for $5 each and order photo packages at the meeting.
