Our signature fundraiser, the annual Mudd Volleyball tournament, will take place in June.
It’s never too early to plan ahead. We count on hundreds of volunteers that day to make the event a success, and because it’s our largest fundraiser, volunteers are a critical part of helping to make a difference for the children we serve. To volunteer at Mudd Volleyball, you must be 16 or older, and there can be quite a bit of standing, lifting, and physical activity in the sun all day.
We need volunteers to referee, to be runners, and to help man our information tents. Training is provided, and you don’t have to know the rules of volleyball to help out.
Carrie Tingley Hospital Foundation provides a unique program to that allows children with disabilities to learn different adaptive sports, participate in fun activities and make new friends!
Every summer we offer three weeklong camps located in Farmington, Albuquerque and Las Cruces. Additionally, throughout the year we have one day mobile camps that travel to different towns in the state.
- To volunteer to work directly with the kids, you must pass a required background check and attend a mandatory orientation. You must be 16 or older and be able to commit at least 2 full days during the summer camp (mobile camp volunteers only need to commit to the one day).
